We have been monitoring the situation in Orlando for months. It was looking like the convention was going to happen without issue up until a couple of weeks ago. That changed with the spike in cases over the last couple of weeks. We have been in contact with The Wyndham Resort, and city officials and have decided to Postpone Fanboy Expo Orlando Until 2021.
Our concern is for the safety and well being of every attendee, staff member, vendor and celebrity guest. In addition to that, we do not want to put on a show that is unable to meet the standards that you all have come to know for a Fanboy Expo event. We deeply apologize that we will be unable to make 2020 happen.
The good news is that we will be returning to The Wyndham for Fanboy Expo Orlando on August 20-22, 2021.
What To Do:
Fan Packages and Photo ops will be automatically refunded and returned.
Ticket holders, artists and vendors:
We would love for you all to hang on to your tickets and booths until 2021. However, we know for some of you that is not an option. You all will have the option to:
A) Keep your ticket, booth or table and use it for 2021. This locks you in for whatever you had for 2020 and gets you extra perks like exclusive T-shirts and prints. For vendors and artists, this means you may also qualify for a rebate on your hotel rooms for 2021. Fanboy Expo is a small business and we want to encourage everyone to use this option as it helps us and gets you some great upgrades.
B) Use your ticket, booth or table at another Fanboy Expo in 2021. It will be honored at any of our 2021 events.
C) Get a refund on your ticket, booth or table. Least popular option for us but we understand it may be the only option for some. If you need to use this option. We will give refunds less the processing fees.
Please email us at david@fanboyexpo.comif you would like to transfer your ticket or need a refund on your ticket. Anyone keeping a ticket or booth does not need to email. We will take those and move them forward to next year. Refunds and transfers will close July 10th2020.
Thank You so much for your support of Fanboy Expo. We wish there was something we could do to make 2020 work but its just not possible at this time.
