Rolling into Fun at Dice Tower East 2025 in Orlando
16SHARESGet ready to roll the dice and dive into five full days of tabletop fun—Dice Tower East 2025 is happening July 2–6 at the beautiful Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, Florida. Whether you’re a seasoned gamer, a casual player, or a family looking for a unique way to spend the holiday weekend, this convention has something for everyone.
Dice Tower East is all about community, creativity, and connection. It’s the kind of event where players become friends after one round of Cascadia, and where kids and adults alike get to explore the world of board games together. Held over the Fourth of July weekend, the atmosphere is both exciting and laid-back, making it a perfect mid-summer getaway for gamers of all ages (well, ages 7 and up!).
At the heart of the convention is the legendary Dice Tower Library, featuring more than 2,000 board games. From lighthearted party games to deep strategic challenges, you’ll find something for every taste. The library is open daily from 8 AM to 1 AM (and until 1 PM on Sunday), giving you plenty of time to try new games or revisit old favorites. You can check out one game at a time, find an open table, and just start playing—no sign-ups required.
There’s also a full lineup of special events and guests. SungWon “ProZD” Cho, the popular voice actor and YouTube personality, will be appearing for panels and meet-and-greets on Friday and Saturday mornings from 10:30 to 11:30 AM. And of course, Tom Vasel and the Dice Tower crew will be leading live shows, classic convention games like Wits & Wagers, PitchCar, and more surprises throughout the weekend.
Badges are still available at the door, even though online registration has closed. Badge pricing is as follows:
Adult Gamer (ages 13 and up): $150 + fees
Child Gamer (ages 7–12): $115 + fees
Keep in mind that children under 7 aren’t permitted in the gaming areas, so plan accordingly if you’re bringing the family.
If you’re attending, booking a room at the Caribe Royale through the official Dice Tower East hotel block is highly recommended. Not only will you be steps away from all the action, but you’ll also get exclusive perks like waived resort fees and discounted parking ($5/day for hotel guests, $15/day for others).
And don’t forget to swing through the Exhibit Hall. With publishers and sponsors like Allplay, Arcane Wonders, Floodgate Games, Foam Brain Games, and Snacky Nom Noms, the vendor area is full of demos, exclusives, and goodies to check out. Whether you’re hunting for new releases or stocking up on game-night snacks, there’s plenty to explore.
Whether you’re flipping cards, rolling dice, or moving meeples, Dice Tower East delivers five days of pure tabletop joy. It’s a place where every game tells a story, and every player is welcome. If you’re headed to Orlando this July, grab your favorite game bag, bring your best strategy, and prepare to make some unforgettable memories.
I’ll see you at the table!
