Beck Rocks the House Co-Headlining with Cage the Elephant at Coral Sky Amphitheater

In the midst of the impending arrival of Hurricane Dorian, Beck blew it out at Coral Sky Amphitheater Friday night! Being a key player during the peak of the 90’s alternative music scene, Friday night Beck made known that he has not lost his edge, pulling it through without wavering, into the following 2 decades. He put on his usual playful, funky cool-nerd satirical style where he somehow combines alt-rock, funk, soul, hip hop and pop into perfectly quirky melodies. He did not let the crowd down playing his hits, such as “Loser”, “Devil’s Haircut”, “Gamma Ray” and “Where It’s at”. During Beck’s encore, Cage the Elephant joined Beck to cover the Rolling Stones’ song “Miss You”.

It also has to be said that Cage the Elephant’s front man Matt Shultz will not be forgotten! Shultz tore the house down with his funky off-the-wall theatrics, ending by fearlessly crowd surfing through the audience.
