As a response to current events and an inability to safely and responsibly host live events, Ongaku Overdrive will be hosting monthly online concerts featuring the kind VGM, nerdcore, and chiptune acts they would usually bring to Orlando, Florida. The first event of the Virtua Ongaku series will take place on Saturday, June 27th, live on the OngakuOverdrive Twitch channel.
The lineup for Virtua Ongaku will feature chiptune pop artist Professor Shyguy, Lauren the Flute of The Returners, Orlando music icon Marc with a C, and Twitch & YouTube music sensation Jackson Parodi.
Virtua Ongaku will be free to watch, but donations will be encouraged to help pay the acts. There will also be a prize raffle to reward fans who donate to the show, “Doors” open at 6:30pm EST, and the show starts at 7:00pm.
