Leo Nocedo : How did you discover cosplaying?
Danielle Dragoni :  I discovered cosplay by first attending cons not in cosplay.
Leo Nocedo : What was your first cosplay?
Danielle Dragoni : My first official cosplay was Rowena MacLeod from Supernatural.
Leo Nocedo : What are your next 3 cosplay plans?
Danielle Dragoni :  from Moulin Rouge, More Scarlet Witch, and Captain Marvel
Leo Nocedo : Have you ever been in a cosplay contest?
Danielle Dragoni :  Yes, several
Leo Nocedo : Do you prefer sewing, armor making, or wig working?
Danielle Dragoni :  I prefer working on the details of the costume. So I guess, wigworking?
Leo Nocedo : Do you prefer to do photoshoots at cons or at specific locations?
Danielle Dragoni :  I actually love both. One of my favorite shoots was my Ivy shoot in the woods. I also love the shoots I do at cons with BroadenUrbrainfilms
Leo Nocedo : Is there a type of character you cosplay frequently?
Danielle Dragoni :  Mera from Aquaman. I have 5 different versions of her.
Leo Nocedo : Do you have any favorite cosplayers?
Danielle Dragoni :  Yes, Dragonskeepcosplays, Jgcosplays, Jlsbarber, Carol Darura Riot, Teatimeformadgirls, and Jenn Wotchertonks
Leo Nocedo : What’s the most detailed cosplay you’ve ever done?
Danielle Dragoni :  My Mera jellyfish gown.
Leo Nocedo : What are your top 3 craftsmanship tips?
Danielle Dragoni :  Pick a cosplay you feel confident with, Do not be afraid to ask for help, and Do not listen to people saying you cannot cosplay something.
Leo Nocedo : What is your favorite cosplay you’ve done?
Danielle Dragoni : Probably my Mera.
Leo Nocedo : What is your worst cosplay “horror” story?
Danielle Dragoni : If we want to go horror, I will say having to let go of cosplay friends who were toxic individuals.
Leo Nocedo : What’s your funniest cosplay story?
Danielle Dragoni :  My funniest happened at supernatural con. I was wheeling my friend into our photo opp with Jensen Ackles when I “saw the sun” aka Jensen, and wheeled my friend into the wall. (I was in Rowena cosplay.)
Leo Nocedo : What’s the best in-character interaction you’ve ever had?
Danielle Dragoni : Meeting Jeffrey Dean Morgan and him calling my book of the damned prop cool. Also, when Danielle Paige featured my Mera cosplay based on her novel Mera:Tidebreaker.
Leo Nocedo : Have you ever cosplayed with a family member?
Danielle Dragoni :  Yes, my boyfriend Jimmy.
Leo Nocedo : What is your favorite cosplay photo of yourself?
Danielle Dragoni : That would probably be one of the Ivy shots I have.
Leo Nocedo : What are your go-to stores for cosplay materials/full cosplays?
Danielle Dragoni :  There is a store in New york in Jamaica Queens I like, also Michael’s, Joann Fabric, Amazon, Miccostumes, and sometimes wish app.
Leo Nocedo : Do you prefer to buy pre-styled wigs or style your own?
Danielle Dragoni :  Pre mostly but I will style my own as well.
Leo Nocedo : Have you ever had someone mistake you for a different character?
Danielle Dragoni : Yes I have had my Rowena thought of as Poison Ivy, and my Mera confused for Ivy as well.
Leo Nocedo : List all the cosplays you’ve done:
Danielle Dragoni : Rowena (So Many versions.), Spiderwoman, Scarlet Witch,(2 versions) Dark Phoenix (2 versions), Poison Ivy( 3 versions), Mera (5 versions), Spidergwen, Merlottes Waitress
Leo Nocedo : What’s the biggest con you’ve cosplayed at?
Danielle Dragoni :  NYCC
Leo Nocedo : Do you prefer cosplaying characters with props, or characters that you don’t need to carry a prop around all day?
Danielle Dragoni :  I am honestly down for either. Provided the prop is not too heavy.
Leo Nocedo : Have you ever lost a cosplay piece at a con?
Danielle Dragoni :  Not yet.
Leo Nocedo : Have you ever bought a cosplay piece at a con?
Danielle Dragoni :  Yes a few times.
Leo Nocedo : Do you prefer to cosplay solo or in a group?
Danielle Dragoni :  I like both honestly.
Leo Nocedo : If you had a chance to meet your all-time favorite cosplayer, what would you say to them?
Danielle Dragoni :  I admire your work.
Leo Nocedo : Have you ever done a cosplay panel?
Danielle Dragoni :  Not yet, but hope to soon.
Leo Nocedo : Do you prefer to buy or make cosplays?
Danielle Dragoni : Both
Leo Nocedo : If you could tell your past self anything about cosplay, what would you say?
Danielle Dragoni :  You are good at this. Also, do not put your trust in the wrong people.
Leo Nocedo : What is your ultimate dream cosplay?
Danielle Dragoni :  I have so many. I am doing one of them now with my Mera. My next choice would probably be Jenny Lind from The Greatest Showman.
Leo Nocedo : What’s the most difficult cosplay you’ve ever done?
Danielle Dragoni :  Mera, the last time I wore the gown I learned how hard it is to use the bathroom in it. (Craftsmanship, wearing of, ect)
Leo Nocedo : What’s the most difficult character makeup you’ve done?
Danielle Dragoni : Nothing too hard yet.
Leo Nocedo : What, in your opinion, makes a cosplayer a “pro” cosplayer?
Danielle Dragoni :  Connections, skills, and followers.
Leo Nocedo : What is your favorite part of cosplaying?
Danielle Dragoni :  Getting to embody another character, and spending time with friends.
Leo Nocedo : What is your favorite app to interact with people on?
Danielle Dragoni :  I love Tik-tok and Instagram. I Am rowenacosplays on both.
