Orlando, FL – May 24, 2022 – More than 140,000 fans shattered attendance records and celebrated a weekend of all things fandom at MEGACON Orlando 2022. The Southeast’s most sought-after fan convention brought a star-studded celebrity lineup, cosplay encounters, endless programming and more to the Orange County Convention Center on Thursday, May 19 to Sunday, May 22, 2022.
MEGACON Orlando’s exciting 2022 celebrity appearances included: Brendan Fraser, Nathan Fillion, Lord of the Rings Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Billy Boyd, Dominic Monaghan, Mandalorian and Breaking Bad’s Giancarlo Esposito, Cobra Kai’s Ralph Macchio, William Zabka, Martin Kove, Mary Mouser, Tanner Buchanan, WWE Superstars Undertaker™, Alexa Bliss™, Bella Twins, Adam Scherr, Kevin Ownes, Star Wars Clone Wars Ashley Eckstein and more.
Plus, fans met the voices behind their favorite animated characters with appearances from Jessica Darrow, Paige O’Hara, Troy Baker, Steve Downes, Kevin Conroy among a lineup of many others.

THE FOUR HOBBITS CAME TOGETHER FOR RARE REUNION
Fans enjoyed an unforgettable evening with The Four Hobbits. Frodo Baggins (Elijah Wood), Samwise Gamgee (Sean Astin), Pippin Took (Billy Boyd) and Merry Brandybuck (Dominic Monaghan) reunited onstage for a once-in-a-lifetime reunion and special Q+A.
WWE SUPERSTARS BRAUN STROWMAN, AKA ADAM SCHERR, AND KEVIN OWENS SHARED A HEARTFELT REUNION
WWE superstars made an appearance on Saturday and Sunday for photo opportunities with fans.
ENCANTO’S JESSICA DARROW, FAN FAVORITE BRENDAN FRASER MET EXCITED FANS
Jessica Darrow signed autographs from fans all over the world and shared heartfelt photos of Encanto cosplays throughout the weekend. Brendan Fraser signed autographs and took photo opps with excited Mummy fans.
COMIC LEGEND FRANK MILLER SCREENED HIS DOCUMENTARY
Iconic comic creator Frank Miller, whose work includes Daredevil, The Dark Knight Returns, Batman: Year One, Sin City, 300 and more, screened his documentary “Frank Miller – American Genius” at MEGACON Orlando 2022, which made its first Florida debut at the show. VIP fans had access to preferred seating at the film screening, a signed poster and a meet and greet with Miller and Film Director Silenn Thomas.
COSPLAYERS STOLE THE SHOW WITH INCREDIBLE COSTUMES
Cosplay encounters were endless at MEGACON Orlando. Cosplayers had the opportunity to strut their costumes on a Cosplay Red Carpet. Cosplay Alley was also filled with cosplay superstars and tons of photo opportunities.
