Something Epic Series Sells-Out Day Of Release—Rushed Back To Print

Fan-favorite Spawn and Punisher artist Szymon Kudrański’s new series Something Epic has hit big with fans and is sold out instantly at the distributor level yesterday—same day as its release. Image Comics will rush Something Epic #1 back to print this week in order to keep up with increasing customer demand and will feature new cover art.

From the moment comic shop doors opened this morning, copies of Something Epic #1 have been flying off shelves and reviewers have been abuzz over this flashy new ongoing series. Comic Book Revolution calls it, “one of the best-looking comic books you will find on the market today” while AIPT said of the new series: “will surely connect with any reader who has ever tried to escape into a book, comics, movie, or any other world beyond the one in front of our eyes.”

Something Epic is set outside our perception, where creative thought takes physical form, and with only a handful of individuals known as Epics able to interact with this wondrous hidden world. But for fourteen-year-old Danny Dillon, accepting these responsibilities himself won’t be easy—or safe. Lose yourself in a world of endless fantasy and creativity, where superheroes, monsters, magical creatures, and cartoon characters live and breathe alongside us.

“I am honored and overwhelmed by the response from readers and fans,” said Kudrański. “I guess… everyone carries a part of Something Epic within themselves that can easily relate to the main character.”

Something Epic #1, second printing will be available at comic book shops on Wednesday, June 7:
