As a lifelong TCG collector and tabletop gamer, I’m beyond excited about the Legends Expo 2024—a celebration of everything I love about the trading card game industry! This event is created by collectors, for collectors, bringing together dealers, brands, and fans to share in the joy of TCGs through collection building, tournament play, and the largest market gathering of its kind.
They’ve taken the best parts of past events and combined them into something truly epic. With over 200 vendors and some amazing special guests, they are crafting an unforgettable experience for the entire TCG community.
I’m overly excited to meet the legendary Japanese illustrator Jerky! He’s created an event-exclusive promotional art card featuring a unique “Florida-Themed” illustration. He will also have prints and other exclusive merchandise available for purchase. Fans will have the rare chance to meet Jerky-San, get autographs, and even snag small sketches.
Joining us as well is the iconic Kenji Watanabe (@jinke_jinke), celebrated for his original TCG artwork. He’ll be meeting fans, signing personal items, and promoting his latest works.
But that’s not all! Legends Expo 2024 is also welcoming two incredible voice actors from the Pokémon universe:
- Jay Goede (aka Philip Bartlett), the original voice of Mewtwo from Pokémon: The First Movie and Pokémon Live
- Laurie Hymes, best known for voicing Lillie in Pokémon Sun & Moon. She’s also brought to life characters like Popplio, Pelipper, and even Caillou, plus various Yu-Gi-Oh! characters.
