The plot revolves around 13-year-old Annalise, whose life takes a dark turn when her mad-scientist father is killed by the world’s greatest spy. Left with her father’s robot bodyguard as her only companion, Annalise faces a choice: lead a normal life for the first time ever, or dive headfirst into a path of vengeance—a path that might just end with her overthrowing the world order.
Rosenberg describes the story as “funny, heartfelt, and far weirder” than what they initially planned. And Landini’s vision brings it all to life with a vibe that’s part ‘70s James Bond, part Tokusatsu, set in a futuristic world of robots and exoskeletons.
