Geek Out This Sunday at the DeLand Comic and Collectibles Show!

If you’re like me and love diving into the world of comics, collectibles, and all things pop culture, then you won’t want to miss the DeLand Comic and Collectibles Show happening this Sunday, January 5, 2025. It’s the perfect way to kick off the new year with a blast from the past and a peek at the latest fandom trends.

This event will be held at the Volusia County Fairgrounds located at 3150 E. New York Ave, aka Hwy 44, DeLand, FL 32724 in the Tommy Lawrence Arena. Whether you’re hunting for vintage comic books, action figures, Pokémon cards, or original artwork, this show has something for everyone.

Here’s why I’m excited:

  • Over 45 Vendors: That’s 140+ tables loaded with pop culture treasures, collectibles, toys, games, Star Wars memorabilia, Disney items, and much more.
  • Affordable Fun: Admission is just $5 at the door, and kids 12 and under get in free with a paying adult.
  • Convenience: Free parking, on-site food trucks, and even an ATM to keep the fun going!
  • Show Hours: The event runs from 10 AM to 4 PM, giving you plenty of time to explore, shop, and geek out.

Here’s the kicker—your $5 admission also gets you access to two events for the price of one! You can also enjoy some fun at the DeLand Florida Paper and Postcard Expo. It’s an unbeatable deal for anyone who loves collecting or simply enjoys a vibrant pop culture community.

Got questions? You can reach out via email at funkingpromotions@gmail.com or give them a call at (407) 466-1070.

Mark your calendar and bring your friends or family. I’ll be there, combing through tables for hidden gems and enjoying the nostalgia trip. Who knows what cool stuff we’ll find?

See you this Sunday at the DeLand Comic and Collectibles Show!
