Ricky Starks makes NXT Debut 24 hours after AEW Release

Just 24 hours after being removed from the AEW roster page “The Revolution” has arrived in WWE.

Absolute Ricky Starks made his first televised appearance since the March 30th, 2024 episode of Collision by debuting on the February 11th episode of NXT. Starks stood in a fired up crowd as they chanted his name and he proclaimed “It’s obvious you know who I am!”

He then went on to say that “If NXT is the future of professional wrestling, then you need an absolute superstar of the future. And if this is the hottest brand then you need the hottest free agent, baby”.

He continued by stating that he’s there to turn NXT upside down and that many wondered when the revolution would be televised again. He finished strong by letting everyone know he’s here before striking his iconic pose.

I’m very excited to see what NXT has in store for Starks. They’ve already proven what they can do with other former AEW wrestlers like “All Ego” Ethan Page and Lexis King (Formerly Brian Pillman Jr) Ricky Starks was one of the former companies hottest young stars and like so many others, they failed to capitalize on that popularity.

Ricky was one of three performers to pin CM Punk during his run with AEW. The other two were MJF and Jon Moxley.

We’ll have to wait and see if Championship Gold is in his future but I wouldn’t bet against it. He has all the talent and looks and charisma and microphone skills. Hopefully he gets the chance to showcase why he is Absolute.
