WrestleMania 41 didn’t end the way Cody Rhodes fans hoped, as The American Nightmare dropped the WWE Championship this past Easter Sunday in Las Vegas. It marked his third straight WrestleMania main event (four, if you count both nights from last year), and it brought an end to an incredible first reign that lasted over a year. But even though he walked out of Sin City without the title, Cody still picked up a huge win elsewhere.
On April 18 at 8 PM, Cody Rhodes officially entered the Fortnite Universe.
That’s right—Cody is now a playable character in Fortnite. He dropped into the Item Shop alongside none other than The Phenom himself, The Undertaker. The two icons are available in a special bundle that includes:
- Cody Rhodes Outfit (aka Skin)
- “Wooaahh” Entrance Emote
- The Nightmare Mantle Back Bling
- Cody’s Cutlass Pickaxe
You can grab Cody’s skin on its own for 1,500 V-Bucks, or go all-in with the full bundle for 2,800 V-Bucks. The whole set is part of Chapter 6, Season 2, and it’s sticking around in the shop until April 25, 2025 at 8 PM local time—so there’s time, but don’t wait too long.
Cody now joins a growing list of WWE superstars who have entered Fortnite’s arena, including The Rock, John Cena, Becky Lynch, and Bianca Belair. For longtime wrestling fans and Fortnite players alike, this is another awesome crossover that blends entertainment and gaming in the best possible way.
And for Cody? Maybe he lost the belt, but he finished his story—and now, he’s ready for a new one in Fortnite.
