Okay, everyone, are you ready for SiestaCon 2025 this Saturday, May 10th?! I seriously can’t wait for this super fun event at Robarts Arena in Sarasota from 10 AM to 7 PM. It’s going to be a blast with comics, cosplay, and so many amazing people!
First of all, I am beyond excited to meet Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti. I mean, they’re the creative duo behind Harley Quinn! How cool is that?! They’ve brought her to life in such a fun and quirky way, and I can’t wait to fangirl over them!
But that’s not all! Walter E. Jones (the original Black Ranger from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers) will be there, and I KNOW there will be a huge crowd around him. And if you’re a Pokémon fan like me, you won’t want to miss Michele Knotz, the voice of Misty, May, Nurse Joy, and Jessie from Team Rocket. Sooo cool, right? Plus, Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake will be there for all you WWE fans!
There’s also so much comic talent coming! Arthur Suydam, the artist behind Marvel Zombies, and Sam De La Rosa, who worked on Spider-Man and Venom, will be hanging out. If you’re a Garfield fan like me, you can meet Gary Barker, who works on the comic books and the strip! And if Star Wars or Batman comics are more your thing, Andrea Mutti will be there to talk about his work on both!
And oh my gosh, you guys! There will be so many awesome things to do! Cosplay contests (get your costumes ready!!), Magic and Pokémon tournaments, and even Lorcana and Star Wars Unlimited games. Don’t forget the epic vehicles! You can get pics with the Batmobile, Mystery Machine, KITT from Knight Rider, and even the TARDIS from Doctor Who!
Tickets are just $10 if you buy in advance, and kids under 10 get in for free with a paying adult! You can even get a VIP pass, so make sure to grab your tickets before they sell out. Trust me, you don’t want to miss out on all the fun.
