Oh my gosh, Anime Festival Orlando 2025 is happening June 20–22 at the Rosen Plaza and I am counting down the days like it’s an anime premiere. It’s one of those weekends where everything feels exciting and magical—cosplay, panels, dancing, shopping, and just nonstop fun from morning to way-too-late at night.
The Rosen Plaza is such a cute and convenient spot. Being right there where everything’s happening makes the whole experience so much easier. No long walks, no stress—just wake up, grab your outfit, and step right into a weekend full of anime dreams, idol songs, and glitter everywhere (including probably in my shoes).
I’m especially excited for the cosplay contests. The main one on Saturday always has the most amazing looks—like, seriously jaw-dropping—and then there’s a fun cosplay catwalk where anyone can strut their stuff and get cheered on. And let’s be honest, the 18+ cosplay show later that night? It’s a total blast. There’s humor, sass, and some surprises I’m definitely not ready for (in the best way).
And then there’s Tales of Orlandia! It’s this full weekend live-action roleplay adventure that makes you feel like you’ve stepped right into your own anime story. You can solve little mysteries, meet characters, and even play a part in how the story unfolds. It’s like living out a fantasy game with your own storyline, and I’m so here for it.
The whole weekend is packed with stuff I want to do. There are voice actor panels, idol and dance performances, fan-run meetups, a super sweet maid café (I will probably cry from happiness if someone calls me “princess”), and anime game shows that are actually on stage like real TV shows. Plus, after dark, there are some super fun grown-up events like cosplay burlesque and dramatic fanfiction readings that I absolutely plan to attend in full eyeliner and giggle mode.
It’s one of those conventions where everyone’s just happy to be there. People are dressed up, bonding over favorite series, sharing snacks in line, and trading stickers and stories like it’s summer camp for anime lovers. I’m already planning my outfits, packing my favorite lashes, and saving extra space in my bag for all the adorable things I know I’ll find in the vendor room.
So yeah, Anime Festival Orlando 2025 is going to be everything. If you’re thinking about going, do it! It’s the kind of experience that leaves you smiling for weeks afterward. I’ll be there, fangirling my heart out and living my best anime life. Let’s meet up and take selfies if you’re going too!
