This weekend, the warp core is firing up for ST‑ORL: Trek to Orlando, landing at the DoubleTree by Hilton Universal Orlando on August 23 and 24, 2025. If you’ve ever wanted to immerse yourself in the world of Star Trek—surrounded by beloved cast members and fellow fans—this is the weekend you’ve been waiting for.
The location is ideal. With the DoubleTree just minutes from Universal Studios, it’s easy to turn this into a full vacation. It’s a great chance to grab your badge, check out the space, and start connecting with the Trek community before the main programming begins.
Saturday and Sunday are filled with appearances and fan-focused programming, usually starting around 9 or 10 in the morning and running through to about 5 or 6 in the evening. Just remember that schedules are always subject to change—especially with travel and filming commitments—so it’s smart to check the official website the week of the show for the most up-to-date information.
The guest lineup this year is one of the best yet. Strange New Worlds stars Anson Mount (Captain Pike), Ethan Peck (Spock), and Christina Chong (La’an Noonien-Singh) are all set to appear. Anthony Rapp, known for playing Paul Stamets on Discovery, is also confirmed for the weekend.
From Deep Space Nine, fans can look forward to seeing Nana Visitor, Cirroc Lofton, Casey Biggs, Chase Masterson, and Jeffrey Combs. If you’re more of an Enterprise fan, Connor Trinneer, Dominic Keating, and Vaughn Armstrong will be there too. Voyager’s own Jeri Ryan and Next Generation’s Gates McFadden are also making appearances, alongside Michelle Hurd from Star Trek: Picard.
You’ll also find some fantastic behind-the-scenes and science talent at the show, including Star Trek script coordinator Lolita Fatjo, astrophysicists Dr. Jess Stasik and Liv Greene, and popular Trek podcaster and host Ryan T. Husk. The event will be co-hosted by Bonnie Gordon, known as the voice of the ship’s computer on Prodigy.
Most guests will be offering photo ops and autographs, and their schedules and availability are clearly laid out on the event website. It’s worth double-checking if there’s someone you’re especially excited to meet—some appearances are limited to one day.
One thing that really sets ST‑ORL apart is how Creation Entertainment handles its events. They don’t oversell. Everyone with a ticket gets a seat in the main theater, so you’re not stuck in a line or left standing during appearances. It’s a smoother, more relaxed con experience where fans can actually enjoy the programming without stress.
So if you’re ready to boldly go where thousands of fellow fans will be this summer, ST‑ORL is your destination. It’s going to be a weekend full of starships, signatures, and shared fandom—and it’s all happening under the sun in Orlando.
