If you’re into big conventions with even bigger energy, you’re going to want to be in Ocala this September. Ocala Comic Con is back on September 20–21, 2025, and it’s one of the largest fan events in Florida—and yeah, it feels big in all the right ways.
We’re talking a huge venue, tons of guests, packed panels, wall-to-wall vendors, epic cosplay, and nonstop action all weekend. The World Equestrian Center is the perfect home for a con this size. It’s beautiful, spacious, and has all the room needed for everything from high-profile celebrity guests to full-scale cosplay competitions—and even an Itasha car display that’s always a crowd favorite.
What’s cool is that even though it’s a big event, it’s still really welcoming. You’ve got fans from all over Florida (and beyond) coming together, but it doesn’t feel overwhelming. People are chill, the energy’s great, and there’s always something going on—whether you’re browsing the vendor hall, checking out panels, meeting artists, or lining up for photo ops.
The guest list always brings in a solid mix of voice actors, comic creators, and fan-favorite personalities. And if you’re into shopping, prepare your wallet—the vendor area is stacked with collectibles, artwork, rare finds, and all the nerdy merch your heart can handle.
Cosplayers, you’re in for a treat too. Ocala Comic Con has built a solid reputation as a cosplay-friendly convention, with contests, photo spots, and a community that really shows up and shows out.
Bottom line? This isn’t some little hometown event. Ocala Comic Con is a major stop on the Florida convention calendar, and 2025 looks like it’s going to raise the bar even higher.
