Anime, Cosplay, and K-pop Oh My! WasabiCon Returns

Okay, okay, okay! Can we just talk about how exciting this is? WasabiCon 2025 is happening October 10-12 at the Prime F. Osborn III Convention Center in Jacksonville, and I am literally counting down the days!

For those who don’t know, WasabiCon has been THE event in Jacksonville since 2012. It’s Northeast Florida’s largest and the city’s longest running pop culture convention, and honestly, it just keeps getting better every single year. This convention celebrates everything we love including anime, manga, Asian culture, cosplay, K-pop, tabletop gaming, and video games. I mean, could it get any more perfect?

The convention takes over a whopping 165,000 square feet of the Prime Osborn Convention Center. Shopping for exclusive merch, discovering new artists, finding that perfect print you’ve been dreaming about… it’s basically paradise.

Convention hours are Friday 4 PM to 9 PM, Saturday 10 AM to 7 PM, and Sunday 10 AM to 6 PM. But here’s the thing, some programming runs even later, so definitely check the full schedule because you do not want to miss anything good!

There are panels, tournaments, gaming sessions, and special events throughout the weekend! Whether you’re obsessed with competitive gaming, living for cosplay contests, wanting to learn new crafting tips, or just vibing with anime culture, there’s literally something happening every single hour. You’re going to want to plan your weekend carefully because there’s SO much to do!

The venue is right in downtown Jacksonville at 1000 Water Street, super easy to get to, with over 900 parking spaces available. No stress about finding a spot, which means more time for all the fun stuff!

What I absolutely love about WasabiCon is how it brings everyone together. It’s become such a staple event for pop culture fans not just in Florida, but from all over!

Jacksonville is about to be the place to be October 10-12! Whether you’re a total convention pro or thinking about going to your first event, WasabiCon 2025 is going to be three days of pure joy and fandom magic. Trust me, you need to be there!
