Sunshine Meets Anime Fun at HizashiCon in Pensacola

Get ready for a weekend of anime, art, and pure Florida sunshine! HizashiCon is bringing the fun to downtown Pensacola from October 31 through November 2, 2025, and it’s shaping up to be an unforgettable celebration of Japanese pop culture.

The three-day event kicks off on Friday, October 31, with a concert at The Rex Theatre on North Palafox Street. Expect high-energy music, live performances, and plenty of cosplayers ready to dance the night away. Then, on Saturday, November 1, the action moves to The Wright Place at First United Methodist Church for the main convention day. This is where you’ll find artists, vendors, panels, and special guests — including voice actors, musicians, and cosplayers from across the fandom world.

To wrap things up, Sunday brings something adorably unique — the “Paws & Pixels” event at the Coastal Cat Café on West Garden Street. It’s a cozy, creative way to end the weekend surrounded by cats, costumes, and community.

Tickets are already available, with advance passes. Parking around East Wright Street is free and easy to find, but spots fill up quickly — so plan ahead if you’re driving in.

Between the live shows, cosplay, and relaxed beach-town atmosphere, HizashiCon feels like the perfect way to celebrate your love of anime under Pensacola’s fall sunshine.
