Okay, so I have to tell you about something absolutely amazing happening in Orlando on November 21st through 23rd. Free Play Florida is coming back, and honestly, if you’ve never been, you’re seriously missing out on one of the most fun gaming events in the southeast.
Imagine walking into a room with over 250 arcade cabinets, pinball machines, and consoles just waiting for you. And the best part? Everything is set to free play. No quarters, no tokens, no nothing. Just three days of unlimited gaming at the gorgeous Caribe Royale Resort. I’m already counting down the days!
What I love about this event is that it’s not some stuffy corporate thing. Free Play Florida is put together by people who genuinely love gaming and want to share that passion with everyone. It’s organized by Byte Amusement Group, a nonprofit that’s all about preserving the magic of arcades, pinball, and early gaming history.
The schedule is perfect too. Friday starts at 4pm and goes until midnight, so you can kick off your weekend in style. Saturday is when things really get wild – 10am all the way to midnight. Then Sunday gives you one last chance to play from 10am to 4pm.
Maybe you have the fondest memories of classic arcade games. Maybe pinball is your thing. Maybe you just want to experience the nostalgia of retro gaming. There’s truly something here for everyone, and the energy is just infectious.
