GemCon takes over Maitland Civic Center on Saturday, March 22, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The venue sits on Lake Lily at 641 S Maitland Ave, Maitland, FL 32751.
Entry is free. Over 50 vendor tables bring TCG, collectibles, and merchandise covering different fandoms and price ranges.
Perfect Order prerelease happens at 2:00 PM during the show. Players get early access to the new set with prerelease kits before the official release date.
Hourly raffles run throughout the day giving attendees multiple chances to win prizes. A cosplay contest lets participants show off their costumes and compete for recognition. Mini games scattered across the event add interactive elements beyond just shopping and trading.
The venue sells merchandise and food on-site. No need to leave for meals or snacks during the eight-hour show.
Lake Lily provides the backdrop for the Maitland Civic Center location. The civic center offers space for the vendor floor, prerelease tournament, contests, and activities all happening simultaneously.
Maitland sits just north of Orlando, making GemCon accessible from Winter Park, Altamonte Springs, and surrounding communities without the drive into downtown.
Eight hours from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM gives you the full day. Arrive early to browse vendors before the 2:00 PM prerelease, or come later if you’re mainly interested in the afternoon activities and contests.
