Rob Liefeld and Seth Damoose bring Badrock his own series launching July 15, 2026 from Image Comics. The Youngblood spinoff focuses on one of the team’s most popular members facing his toughest mission yet.
After saving the county, planet, and entire dimension, Badrock now faces his most important mission: saving his mom. Mysterious abductors kidnap her and force Badrock to submit to their demands. The youngest and most dynamic member of the world’s greatest super squad must overcome a gauntlet of villainy and manipulation unlike anything he’s encountered before.
Liefeld described the story as a personal journey with an emotional core pushing Badrock harder than ever. He recruited Damoose to draw this new stage of Badrock’s journey last summer, praising his style and storytelling as fantastic.
Damoose previously worked on Tales of Mr. Rhee and Savant. Liefeld created Youngblood and remains one of the most recognized names in superhero comics from the Image Comics founding era.
Six variant covers launch issue one: two covers by Seth Damoose, three covers by Rob Liefeld, one by Brett Bean from D’orc and Dungeon Crawler Carl: Crocodile, plus a blank sketch cover for custom artwork.
Digital editions release simultaneously across Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, and Google Play for readers preferring electronic formats.
