Sharks take center stage this summer as SharkCon returns to the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa on July 18-19, 2026, for a weekend dedicated to ocean life, conservation, education, and family fun.
Presented by National Geographic SHARKFEST, SharkCon brings together marine biologists, conservation groups, shark experts, scuba professionals, photographers, artists, exhibitors, and special guests for an event unlike anything else in Florida. Visitors can attend educational presentations, meet experts from the marine science community, browse shark-themed merchandise, and learn more about the world’s most misunderstood predators.
The convention floor features vendors, interactive exhibits, conservation organizations, and activities designed to entertain while promoting shark and ocean conservation. From shark lovers to families looking for a unique weekend adventure, SharkCon offers plenty of opportunities to learn, explore, and connect with others who share a passion for marine life.
If sharks have always fascinated you—or you’re simply looking for something different from the typical convention—SharkCon 2026 promises a weekend filled with education, discovery, and appreciation for the animals that help keep our oceans healthy.
