There’s always a little extra excitement when a brand-new event is about to make its debut, and that’s exactly what’s happening in Ocoee. The first-ever Pokoee Card & Gaming Expo takes place on Sunday, July 19, 2026, from 10:00am to 3:00pm at the Ocoee Lakeshore Center, bringing together collectors, gamers, comic fans, and hobbyists for a full day dedicated to the communities that make Central Florida’s hobby scene so special.
For a first-year show, the guest lineup is already impressive. Michael Phillippi, known for his work with Magic: The Gathering, Warhammer, and Ultima, will be meeting fans throughout the day. Dungeons & Dragons and Forgotten Realms author Richard Lee Byers has also been announced, giving fantasy readers a chance to meet one of the genre’s most recognizable writers. Topps Chrome fans can meet artist Jason Queen, while Pokémon fans won’t want to miss an appearance by Pikabellachu.
The show isn’t limited to one corner of the hobby. Vendors will be bringing sports cards, Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, comics, tabletop games, miniatures, collectibles, gaming supplies, artwork, and plenty more. No matter what you collect, there will be something worth stopping to check out.
One booth you won’t want to miss is West Orange Comics & Video Games. The Ocoee shop will be on hand with a selection of Pokémon cards, comics, trading card games, and collectibles, giving attendees another great reason to spend time on the show floor. Better yet, the store will remain open after the event for anyone looking to keep the hobby going.
The expo is also being supported by a number of familiar names, including Con-Track, Lake County Comic Convention, Nife Wars, Pokémon GO Florida, Mythical Meats, and Florida Geek Scene. That support gives the event a community-driven feel that’s hard to duplicate.
