Comic book fans are heading to DeLand this weekend as the Daytona Beach Comic Convention returns to the Volusia County Fairgrounds on August 29-30, 2026.
Despite its name, the show is actually being held at the Tommy Lawrence Arena at the Volusia County Fairgrounds in DeLand, giving collectors and comic fans a full weekend to browse comics, toys, original artwork, and collectibles.
The Daytona Beach Comic Convention bills itself as Florida’s longest-running comic con, and the 2026 show is shaping up to be another big gathering for collectors. Dealers from around the region will be filling the hall with comic books, toys, collectibles, and original art.
For comic collectors, there should be plenty to dig through, from older books and Golden Age comics to more recent issues and other items for the collection. The show is also a chance to meet fellow fans and spend some time looking through dealer tables without having to rush through the event in a single afternoon.
The convention runs Saturday, August 29 from 10am to 5pm and Sunday, August 30 from 10am to 4pm.
Admission is $10 for one day or $15 for both days, with tickets available at the door.
