Tampa is getting ready for two nights of loud, heavy, and unapologetically extreme music as Tampa Death Fest 2026 takes over the Brass Mug on September 4 and 5.
Now in its eighth year, the festival brings together established names from Florida’s metal scene with bands from around the country and beyond. This year’s lineup includes Viogression, Nasty Savage, Leprosy, Gangrenesia, Coathanger Abortion, Grave Filth, Unholy Disciple, Sacrilous, Foreverless, Syndicate, Eroguro Phantasmagore, Homicyde, Ramtha, Gouted Corpse, Sapraemia, and Must Not Kill.
Friday, September 4 features performances from Syndicate, Eroguro Phantasmagore, Homicyde, Unholy Disciple, Leprosy, Sacrilous, Viogression, and Foreverless.
The action continues Saturday with Grave Filth, Ramtha, Gouted Corpse, Coathanger Abortion, Sapraemia, Gangrenesia, and Must Not Kill, before Tampa’s own Nasty Savage closes out the night.
For anyone familiar with Tampa’s history in extreme metal, having Nasty Savage on the bill makes the weekend especially fitting. The band was part of the Tampa-area scene that helped shape Florida’s influential metal sound, and their appearance gives the festival a connection to the area’s early days.
Tampa Death Fest takes place at The Brass Mug in Tampa on September 4-5, 2026. Two nights, a stacked lineup, and plenty of heavy music make this one for fans who like their metal loud and uncompromising.
