As one might expect from a horror story, there’s lots of macabre images throughout, and the artists cleverly make this compliment some of the weaknesses of their art.

I didn’t know what to expect when I started reading, and this wasn’t a comic I would pick up for myself. I am glad, though, that I get to review so many stories I wouldn’t have been exposed to otherwise.
Secondly, and I feel most importantly, the old school art is just juvenile. Sure, it may be neat to see this famous style in decades old books, but why do we need more of it?
