What an awesome way to start 2022 at St Pete Comic Con at the Coliseum a truly great venue .St. Pete Comic Con has assembled one of the best groups of cosplayers ever to appear at a con its size. Cosplayers are came from Jacksonville, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, and Tampa.
Leo Nocedo : How did you discover cosplaying?
Cat Gladden : I discovered cosplaying back in 2013 through Ashley Eckstein’s company, Her Universe. Ashley did a vlog at a Star Wars Celebration and seeing all of the magnificent costumes made me want to start bringing characters to life!
Leo Nocedo : How did you discover cosplaying?
Damien Campos : One night while out on the town I stumbled upon a Doctor Who convention. I later cosplayed at the same con.
Leo Nocedo :: What was your first cosplay?
Damien Campos : The original Master from Doctor Who.
Leo Nocedo : How did you discover cosplaying?
Avera Cosplay : I have been a long-time con goer and nerd. I used to work for Geek magazine and was able to attend cons like San Diego Comic Con, so I was aware of cosplay and admired it from afar. I never really had the guts to do it until about 5 years ago.
