Secondly, and I feel most importantly, the old school art is just juvenile. Sure, it may be neat to see this famous style in decades old books, but why do we need more of it?

The Power Rangers arrive in New York City to find Tommy Oliver but soon discover he’s joined forces with the villainous Shredder and the Foot Clan!
I was never on board before, so reading this issue and not knowing each character’s history or relationships, and not understanding most of the lingo they use, made for a pretty boring read.
Heartbeat is an absolutely beautiful book, but I think it’s a bit of a shame when the art is a comic’s strongest seller. The story has tons of promise, but I’m left with so many questions that I’m not even sure what’s going on.
