Image Comics is launching D’orc this February, a high-fantasy comedy about a lonely half-dwarf, half-orc orphan who’s prophesied to end the world. Armed with only a talking enchanted shield and an overwhelming need for friendship, D’orc accidentally gets pulled into an epic war that will make every creature in the realm know his name. From the creative team behind I Hate Fairyland comes a series that doesn’t take fantasy tropes seriously.
The Lake County Comic Convention is hitting its fifth year on November 22nd at Minneola City Hall. Comics, anime, gaming, and pop culture all in one room from 10am to 5pm.
