Bold Matsuri Cosplay Festival Is This Weekend July 9-10, 2022 In Jacksonville Florida!
Bold Matsuri is Jacksonville Florida’s annual Anime and Cosplay Festival. Our convention will feature many events and activities during the weekend for our attendees to take part in such as meeting their favorite guest, participating in guest panels, contests, a gaming area, and cosplay/anime focused after-hour events.
Leo Nocedo : How did you discover cosplaying?
Charlie Hunter :I think cosplaying discovered me. I was looking for a way to express myself and I always had a love of fashion design. When I realized cosplaying was a thing I knew I was home.
So far Megacon Orlando has shown that it has become one the major Comic-cons of the USA with an attendance well over 100,000. With a line-up of superstars such as Brendan Fraser, Elijah Wood, William Zabka, Ralph Macchio, Giancarlo Espisito, James Marsters, Kevin Smith, Ashely Eckstien and many more to name and with over 400,000 square feet of shopping the vendor hall was filled.
