Robert Kirkman and David Finch’s Skinbreaker is getting collected in two massive deluxe hardcover editions from Skybound and Image Comics. Both versions collect the full eight-issue run in Treasury-sized format at 8.5″ by 13.5″. You can grab it in full color with Annalisa Leoni’s colors, or in black and white if you want to see Finch’s line work without distractions. The series has been performing well since it launched back in September 2025, with issue one selling out and going to a second printing.

Curt Pires and Franklin Jonas are bringing something fresh to the Lost Fantasy universe. Fireborn #1 will be available at comic book shops on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 from Image Comics, with art by Patrick Mulholland. Aaron Hillburg is a rich kid avoiding his billionaire father when a floating dragon egg bonds to him and unlocks ancient magic he didn’t know he had. Now every dangerous wizard, biker cultist, and supernatural warlord between New York City and The World Beneath wants that egg, and they’re willing to burn everything down to get it.
Sometimes a comic just hits differently. D’orc dropped from Image Comics and immediately sold out. The second printing? Nearly 25,000 orders. That’s not normal for a new series, and it’s got people comparing it to launches like Saga, The Department of Truth, and Stray Dogs. Brett Bean created this half-dwarf, half-orc character who’s supposedly fated to destroy the world, but he’s just trying to make friends. He’s got a magic shield that won’t shut up and a ghost chicken with its head cut off as companions. The book mixes high fantasy with deadpan humor and serious violence, and readers are connecting with it hard.
A sword-wielding barbarian in a modern prison sounds like a punchline. Barbarian Behind Bars #1 refuses to treat it like one. By grounding its high-concept premise in tension and restraint, the issue delivers a surprisingly sharp and controlled debut.
