Image Comics is launching D’orc this February, a high-fantasy comedy about a lonely half-dwarf, half-orc orphan who’s prophesied to end the world. Armed with only a talking enchanted shield and an overwhelming need for friendship, D’orc accidentally gets pulled into an epic war that will make every creature in the realm know his name. From the creative team behind I Hate Fairyland comes a series that doesn’t take fantasy tropes seriously.
Remember those incredible Magic: The Gathering comics featuring Elspeth? Well, if you missed them the first time around, or if you just want them all in one beautiful package, you’re in luck. Dark Horse Comics is collecting all four issues of Untold Stories—Elspeth into a paperback volume, hitting shelves in June 2026.
They’re All Terrible is back in an oversized deluxe edition that brings together the first two issues and a new B-side story. It’s 64 pages of wild, over-the-top fantasy action from Matt Kindt and Ramon Villalobos. Preorders close September 1st, and it hits comic shops October 1st.
