This October, Image Comics is taking a bold new approach with their fan-favorite series Ice Cream Man. Instead of releasing a traditional comic book, the creative team is unveiling a one-shot story called The Mortal Coil Shuffle—and it’s told entirely through a deck of 55 custom playing cards.
Hit Marvel Studios’ writer of Moon Knight and Ms. Marvel TV series and Ms. Marvel: The New Mutant, Sabir Pirzada, makes his creator-owned comics debut with the upcoming graphic anthology, Dandelion.
“I don’t like clowns, so I thought it’d be a good idea to write about them,” said Prince. “What a gas, to get to partner with some of comics’ best to tell these ditties about a bunch of real jokers.”
In the early days of the pandemic, the team behind ICE CREAM MAN launched an online-only series of mini-comics set in the ICM universe. The project was called, predictably, QUARANTINE COMIX.
