Orlando’s underground music community is rallying around Uncle Lou after reports surfaced that the longtime venue owner was detained on an immigration hold. As support pours in from local musicians, artists, and fans, a GoFundMe campaign has been launched to help cover legal expenses and support one of the most recognizable figures in Central Florida’s independent music scene.
Florida Underground Fest 6 is taking over Downtown Sanford with 90 bands across 5 stages for three days of nonstop live music. With acts like The Supervillains, Wolf Face, and Caustic Bats, plus a festival layout that keeps everything within easy walking distance, this is shaping up to be one of the biggest underground music events Florida has seen all year.
