Leo Nocedo: How did you discover cosplaying?
Lady Darjuxena : I am a fan of Halloween & been dressing up as my favorite heroes since I was 5 years old as wonder woman Im also a pro belly dancer so we are always in costuming lol
Leo Nocedo: What was your first cosplay?
Lady Darjuxena :   5 years old wonder woman but my more recent ones have been fused with belly dance, I have my own cosplay belly dance troupe find us on FB called cosplay belly dance by Lady Darjuxena
Leo Nocedo: What are your next 3 cosplay plans?
Lady Darjuxena : Ursula from little mermaid, kitana from mortal kombat & I have been also doing my version of link from zelda
Leo Nocedo: Have you ever been in a cosplay contest?
Lady Darjuxena : Yes! :
Leo Nocedo: Do you prefer sewing, armor making, or wig working?
Lady Darjuxena :Because im legally blind I prefer to use crafting glues projects with some sewing
Leo Nocedo: Do you prefer to do photoshoots at cons or at specific locations?
Lady Darjuxena :I like to do specific photo shoots ones that are different mostly horror
Leo Nocedo: Is there a type of character you cosplay frequently?
Lady Darjuxena : Yes ones that fit more of me personally or mean something to me. My favorites to cosplay is the original Lynda Carter wonder woman, Xena warrior princess, Princes “slave “ Leia, Vanellope from Wreck it Ralph Moana & Jasmine from Disney
Leo Nocedo: Do you have any favorite cosplayers?
Lady Darjuxena : They are all my favorires
Leo Nocedo: What’s the most detailed cosplay you’ve ever done?
Lady Darjuxena : Hmmmm idk Twisty clown from American Horror story?
Leo Nocedo: What are your top 3 craftsmanship tips?
Lady Darjuxena : Bring pins glue and extra stuff with you when you go to a con lol
Leo Nocedo: What is your favorite cosplay you’ve done?
Lady Darjuxena :  Xena
Leo Nocedo: What is your worst cosplay “horror” story?
Lady Darjuxena : Game of throne mother of dragons it was so hot & I wont cosplay a blonde again no more wigs for me !!I look terrible as a blonde had a head ache & sooo hot I nearly passed out!
Leo Nocedo: What’s your funniest cosplay story?
Lady Darjuxena : I cosplayed xena on my birthday & went horse backing the whole basketball field was yelling Xena xena!
Leo Nocedo: What’s the best in-character interaction you’ve ever had?
Lady Darjuxena : I’ve done some volunteer work for cosplayers with a cause always a great time with them helping kids in need , I was Moana and made quite a bit of kids happy
Leo Nocedo: Have you ever cosplayed with a family member?
Lady Darjuxena : Yes often I would cosplay with my sister
Leo Nocedo: What is your favorite cosplay photo of yourself?
Lady Darjuxena : My princess leia one & my Xena
Leo Nocedo:What are your go-to stores for cosplay materials/full cosplays?
Lady Darjuxena : Joann’s fabrics, Michaels thrifts stores and some various online sometimes I f running low on time I will hire someone to help me make a cosplay !
Leo Nocedo: Do you prefer to buy pre-styled wigs or style your own?
Lady Darjuxena : I don’t use wigs very often I have really thick long hair & it all mine! And it super hard to put under a wig !
Leo Nocedo: Have you ever had someone mistake you for a different character?
Lady Darjuxena : No but I made a pink & black ( battle cancer) wonder woman costume and confused a few people lol a
Leo Nocedo: List all the cosplays you’ve done.
Lady Darjuxena : Well all the ones I mentioned wonder woman, xena, leia, r2d2, kylo renn, Link the original version of Harley quinn, Jasmine, jack Skellington , Moana Vanellope, the Joker, twisty, negan , cleopatra DC’s enchantress . Daenyrus , Assassin creed, Wednesday Addams , Smurfette, lily munster, the mummy , dark stalkers, etc etc
Leo Nocedo: What’s the biggest con you’ve cosplayed at?
Lady Darjuxena : Megacon
Leo Nocedo: Do you prefer cosplaying characters with props, or characters that you don’t need to carry a prop around all day?
Lady Darjuxena : It doesnt matter
Leo Nocedo: Have you ever lost a cosplay piece at a con?
Lady Darjuxena : Yes many times
Leo Nocedo: Have you ever bought a cosplay piece at a con?
Lady Darjuxena : Yes
Leo Nocedo: Do you prefer to cosplay solo or in a group?
Lady Darjuxena : It doesn’t matter I do both but the more the merrier
Leo Nocedo: If you had a chance to meet your all-time favorite cosplayer, what would you say to them?
Lady Darjuxena : I don’t have one I appreciate all cosplayer & don’t idolize one over anyone else, everyone has their own style of creativity an d talent
Leo Nocedo: Have you ever done a cosplay panel?
Lady Darjuxena : Yes but it was for belly dance cosplay show not just for costuming
Leo Nocedo: Do you prefer to buy or make cosplays?
Lady Darjuxena : I to make them but that not always possible
Leo Nocedo:If you could tell your past self anything about cosplay, what would you say? Fun times ahead?
Leo Nocedo: What is your ultimate dream cosplay?
Lady Darjuxena : Good question !! maybe a really cool version of Evil Lynn
Leo Nocedo: What’s the most difficult cosplay you’ve ever done?
Lady Darjuxena : They are all difficult for me lol!!
Leo Nocedo: What’s the most difficult character makeup you’ve done?
Lady Darjuxena : I did Lill Munster because I really hate doing face paint
Leo Nocedo: What, in your opinion, makes a cosplayer a “pro” cosplayer?
Lady Darjuxena : The word pro means professional means paid for your art , so if your paid to do anything you’re a pro!!
Leo Nocedo: What is your favorite part of cosplaying?
Lady Darjuxena : It always been about creativity for me being creative & seeing others other creativity makes me smile!
Leo Nocedo: Is there anything you don’t like about cosplay?
Lady Darjuxena : Not really much but I don’t dig the criticism I see sometimes or the body shaming ,I do think that you should always be tasteful and cautious l not to show too much as most of these events have children at them, if you wouldn’t wear it in front of your own parents maybe you should think twice 😊
