Cosplayer Of The Week: Paige Kelly

Leo Nocedo : How did you discover cosplaying?
Paige Kelly : I discovered it back in high school from a group of friends who were talking about it!
Leo Nocedo :What was your first cosplay?
Paige Kelly : My first Cosplay was Stealth suit captain america
Leo Nocedo : What are your next 3 cosplay plans?
Paige Kelly : Oh gosh the ones I’m working on right now are Doc ock, pike from Critical role, and Rebecca from Resident Evil
Leo Nocedo : Have you ever been in a cosplay contest?
Paige Kelly : I’ve gone through a few!
Leo Nocedo : Do you prefer sewing, armor making, or wig working?)
Paige Kelly : Wig working makes me extremely nervous lol, so I’ve done both armor making and sewing!
Leo Nocedo : Do you prefer to do photoshoots at cons or at specific locations?
Paige Kelly : Cons tend to be easier to meet with photographers, but I’d love to do a shoot at a location one day! 😎
Leo Nocedo : Do you have any favorite cosplayers?
Paige Kelly : I love Ceekayceecosplays, and Jedimanda!
Leo Nocedo : What are your go-to stores for cosplay materials/full cosplays?
Paige Kelly : Usually JOANNS/Michael’s, a thrift store as well and Amazon!
Leo Nocedo : What’s the biggest con you’ve cosplayed at?
Paige Kelly : Dragoncon!
Leo Nocedo : Do you prefer cosplaying characters with props, or characters that you don’t need to carry a prop around all day?
Paige Kelly : I really love carrying around super cool props! It’s worth the shoulder pain😂
Leo Nocedo : Do you prefer to cosplay solo or in a group?
Paige Kelly : I love to do both, especially with the Chaos Crew!
Leo Nocedo : Do you prefer to buy or make cosplays?
Paige Kelly : It mostly depends on time and budget; this year I’m working towards making more Cosplays!
Leo Nocedo : What’s the most difficult cosplay you’ve ever done? (Craftsmanship, wearing of, ect)
Paige Kelly : Probably Jester from critical role. She’s my biggest build to date and it was a lot of learning and hours of work into her, whether it was learning something new to sew or prop making or body painting techniques.
