Okay besties, listen up—if you don’t have plans for Memorial Day weekend yet, don’t even worry, because I’ve got you. We are so going to Mizucon 2025. It’s happening May 23–25 in Miami, and this year’s theme is Casino on the High Seas. Like, what?? That’s actually iconic.
So picture this: you, your cutest cosplay, a bunch of new besties, and a weekend full of anime, games, panels, contests, and nonstop vibes. It’s all going down at the Miccosukee Casino & Resort, which is basically giving full fantasy cruise energy without the seasickness.
If you’ve never been to Mizucon before, it’s this adorable water-themed con that’s all about anime, Japanese culture, gaming, and straight-up fun. It’s got big Florida con energy, but with a splash—literally. They’ve got mermaids. Real ones. I mean, not real real, but like, you get it.
There’s gonna be voice actor panels (hello, dream come true), sword fights (yes, actual ones), late-night raves (slay), and sooo much cosplay. Like, if you’ve been dying to show off that one costume that’s been sitting in your closet? Now’s the time.
And the artist alley? Stop. It’s packed with handmade goodies, cute art, and stuff you’re 100% gonna impulse-buy and pretend you needed. No regrets.
So let’s talk tickets because you need to be there. A weekend pass is just $55, which is honestly a steal. But if you’re feeling fancy, there are VIP options too—Silver is $80, Gold is $120, and if you’re like, “This is my entire personality now,” there’s a $500 Diamond VIP that gets you lifetime access. Werk.
Anyway. The whole vibe of Mizucon is just super cute, super fun, and honestly kind of magical. It’s one of those cons where everyone’s nice, the energy is chaotic in the best way, and you end up leaving with sore feet, too much merch, and like five new internet friends.
