Image Comics has announced a new comic book series titled ESCAPE, created by writer Rick Remender and artist Daniel Acuña. The first issue will be available in comic shops and digital platforms on Wednesday, August 20, 2025.
ESCAPE follows a soldier who is shot down behind enemy lines and must survive while being hunted in a dangerous, unfamiliar environment. The series is described as an action-packed military thriller.
Daniel Acuña is responsible for all aspects of the artwork, including linework and painting. The interiors of the series will be fully painted.
Remender and Acuña have worked together before on Marvel Comics titles. This series marks a new collaboration at Image Comics.
