Let me be real with you—CEO 2025 is about to take over Orlando, and I’ve already marked my calendar. From June 13 to 15, the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort turns into the ultimate battleground for fighting games, and if you’re into combos, pop-offs, or just watching legends clash, this is the event.
I’m not talking about some small community meet-up in a rec center. This is CEO. It’s loud, intense, and full of energy you can feel in your bones. There’ll be 30+ tournaments, a 24-hour arcade, cosplayers, karaoke, vendors, and more side events than I’ll have time to check out. It’s everything I love about fighting games cranked to eleven.
And the venue? Yeah, I’ve looked it up—it’s stacked. Rosen Shingle Creek has everything. Pools. Restaurants. A spa. A freakin’ golf course. It’s massive, and it’s exactly the kind of spot that can hold this kind of chaos. I’m staying there so I can roll out of bed and straight into bracket.
Speaking of games—Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8, Guilty Gear, UMvC3, Capcom vs. SNK 2, 3rd Strike—they’re all on deck. I’ve got a long history with some of these titles, and just seeing them on the lineup gives me that itch to compete again. Even if I scrub out early, I’m still grabbing a badge just to be in the room while the big matches go down.
And I’m definitely hitting JebaileyLand—the 24-hour arcade is always wild. It’s wall-to-wall cabinets, rhythm games, side tournaments, and the kind of random encounters you only get at a place like this. Between that, the Artist Alley, the cosplay contest, and the vendor hall, there’s never a dull moment.
I already picked up my badge, because I know how fast this thing sells out. If you’re planning to go, do yourself a favor and register early. Competitor badges get you into the tournaments, arcade, vendors—the whole thing. Spectator badges are there too if you just want to vibe without catching hands in pools. Either way, waiting too long means you’re stuck watching from home. And that’s not where I want to be.
CEO is where the fighting game community shows out. I’ve been to enough events to know this one hits different. It’s loud, passionate, sweaty, ridiculous—and completely unforgettable.
I’m going. You should too. See you in Orlando.
