At the center of it all is Kral the Subjugator, a disgraced warrior trying to claw his way back to relevance. When the mystical City of Clouds needs defenders, Kral assembles a crew that includes a drunken barbarian, a talking familiar, and a mummified assassin. That’s the level of absurdity we’re dealing with here.
This new deluxe edition includes the first two issues of the series along with an additional B-side story, giving fans something extra while also making it easy for new readers to jump in. It’s a re-release, but it doesn’t feel like a reprint—it feels like the loud, unruly encore to a show that barely ended.
