Fort Lauderdale gets a full day of anime and pop culture on Sunday, September 20, 2026, when FT-Lauderdale Anime-Fest takes over the Embassy Suites by Hilton Fort Lauderdale 17th Street.
The convention runs from 10 AM to 5 PM at 1100 SE 17th Street, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316, bringing together anime fans, collectors, cosplayers, artists and vendors under one roof.
The dealer floor covers a broad mix of anime and Japanese pop culture, with manga, toys, video games, anime merchandise, artwork, apparel, jewelry, magazines and anime candy among the items featured at the show.
Fans can also meet guests Brian Mathis and Christine Auten, with the convention offering opportunities to interact with anime industry professionals and other fandom guests. Cosplay, artist alley and panels are also part of the day’s lineup.
General admission is $20, while children under 11 can attend free with a paying adult. Additional children’s admission is $10, and VIP, Platinum and Golden ticket packages are also available.
