All Hands on Deck for Treasure Island Comic Con

Pirates have spent centuries searching for buried treasure, but on Saturday, October 24, you won’t need a map, a shovel, or an X marking the spot.

Just head to Fernandina Beach.

Treasure Island Comic Con is bringing its pirate-inspired celebration of comics and pop culture to 95707 Amelia Concourse, promising more vendors, more artists, more cosplay, panels, VIP perks, and plenty of opportunities to discover something interesting.

And judging by the guest lineup, comic book art is going to be a big part of the day.

Among the featured guests is Mike Spicer, an accomplished comic book colorist whose work includes Absolute Batman, Transformers, and DC K.O. He’ll be joined by veteran artists Mark Pennington and Bob Sharen, along with Kyle Willis, Maria Wolf, Jeff Whiting, Greg Kirkpatrick, and John Burgin.

The creative lineup continues with Michael Regina, a writer and artist, as well as artists Shane Douberly, Dominic Pirozzi, John P. Goldin, and Crumzart.

That’s quite a collection of creative talent gathered in one place.

For comic readers, meeting the people responsible for the artwork is one of the more interesting parts of attending a convention. You get to see the faces behind the illustrations, ask questions about their work, and perhaps pick up something directly from the artist who created it.

Treasure Island Comic Con is also putting cosplay in the spotlight. The event promises more costumed characters, giving attendees an excuse to break out their favorite superhero, science fiction, fantasy, or anime outfits.

Panels are part of the festivities, too, providing another opportunity to hear from participating creators and guests.

And then there’s the treasure.

The convention is advertising an expanded selection of vendors, meaning comic books, artwork, and pop culture merchandise will be part of the shopping experience. There are also VIP perks available for attendees looking for something extra.

Treasure Island Comic Con takes place Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 10 AM to 5 PM at 95707 Amelia Concourse, Fernandina Beach, Florida 32034.

The event is sponsored by Gotham City Limit.

With a sizable group of comic artists, cosplay, panels, and an expanded vendor lineup, Treasure Island Comic Con is giving Northeast Florida comic fans a full Saturday of things to see and do.

And unlike those old pirate stories, you won’t have to sail halfway around the world to find the treasure.

It’s waiting in Fernandina Beach.
