Lauren Scham : I was introduced to cosplay by an ex boyfriend. I had never been to a con before and he told me that we just had to dress up. Thus my love for cosplay was born!

Michael D. Pelaez : I was asked to join a radio station based in Zephyrhills to participate in parades. I picked Spider-Man because he’s my favorite superhero.
What a great way to start the very first Suncoast comic-con with a grand variety of comic book artist and writers such as Greg Horn.
Leo Nocedo: When and where did CWC start ?
CWC : Before Facebook, and Myspace, Two groups of friends in different parts of the country, Orlando and Chicago, got together to bring smiles to children. Each area branded themselves Costumers With A Cause, and it wasn’t until 2 years later that they were introduced to each other, and a national friendship formed the official CWC National.
