Welcome everyone to the twenty-fifth edition of Spandex and Suplexes: A Wrestling Review. I cover a week that saw the final build to WrestleMania 36, the NXT North American Championship on the line, and the introduction of the AEW TNT Championship. Let’s get started.
First off, I know what you’re thinking “didn’t this girl just do a verbatim title about horror?” Why yes I certainly did, but this is the thing. If you’re like me and you are stuck in your home for the next month or more because all the stuff we’ve grown up watching in movies and television about plagues and pandemics and us as horror fans just laughed it off is now actually happening, then WTF? When do the dead rise? When is there no more room in Hell? So I’ll just dub this post the April Edition of the quarantine top ten list.
