Convention Update

Anime Festival Orlando 2020 Cancellation

We are announcing with heavy hearts that Anime Festival Orlando will not be hosting a convention in 2020.

With cases of COVID-19 on the rise in Florida, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our event until next year, June 25-27, 2021.

This was not an easy decision, but we feel it is the best one we could make for the health and safety of our community. We thank you for your patience and look forward to seeing you next year.

If you purchased a pass for this year’s convention, we can transfer it to next year or offer a refund. Please send an email to aforedranger@gmail.com if you would prefer a refund. Otherwise, your ticket will automatically be transferred. If you won a pass, it will carry over to next year’s dates.

If you applied to volunteer, work as press, or run a panel at AFO 2020, we ask that you reapply when we post the AFO 2021 applications. Artists and vendors, we will roll your applications over to next year.

If you booked a hotel room for the convention, you will need to call to cancel your reservation.

If you have any questions not addressed above, message us here, or send an email to marketingforafo@gmail.com
