Skybound, the entertainment company founded by The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman, has partnered with Hasbro to bring an all-new shared “Energon Universe” to fans of Transformers and G.I. Joe comics. As part of this partnership, Skybound has announced the full lineup of Autobots team members that will appear in Transformers, launching with issue #1 on October 4, 2023.
Writer and artist Daniel Warren Johnson, known for his work on Extremity and DC’s Wonder Woman: Dead Earth, will take on the iconic Robots in Disguise in this new era. Colorist Mike Spicer, who has worked on Stillwater and Murder Falcon, will bring his talent to the series as well.
The teasers released on Skybound’s social channels this week showcase the all-star team of Optimus Prime, Ratchet, Cliffjumper, Arcee, and Wheeljack. Fans should stay tuned to Skybound’s social channels next week, as the Decepticon team will be unveiled daily.
