The Energon Universe is reaching a breaking point. Void Rivals #26 from Skybound and Image Comics arrives January 28, 2026, with preview pages showing Quintesson forces launching a devastating assault on the Sacred Ring. The attack forces an unprecedented development—ancient enemies the Zertonians and Agorrians must fight together or perish separately. Writer Robert Kirkman and artist Andrei Bressan deliver what looks like a watershed moment for the series that anchors the entire Energon Universe.
Image Comics is launching D’orc this February, a high-fantasy comedy about a lonely half-dwarf, half-orc orphan who’s prophesied to end the world. Armed with only a talking enchanted shield and an overwhelming need for friendship, D’orc accidentally gets pulled into an epic war that will make every creature in the realm know his name. From the creative team behind I Hate Fairyland comes a series that doesn’t take fantasy tropes seriously.
