Image Comics has announced the upcoming launch of The UnChosen, a new four-issue miniseries by David Marquez. The first issue is scheduled to arrive in comic shops on Wednesday, July 9, 2025.
The UnChosen follows a thirteen-year-old girl named Aida, who wakes up in the middle of a devastated city after a massive explosion—an explosion she caused. As the story unfolds, Aida is pursued by rival forces with extraordinary powers and must uncover the truth about her past.
David Marquez is both the writer and artist for the series. The first issue will be available with several covers, including artwork by Marquez and additional variant editions. It will also be released digitally on platforms such as Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, and Google Play.
This series is being published by Image Comics as part of their July 2025 lineup.
