FreeCon celebrates its 22nd year Saturday, April 4 and Sunday, April 5, 2026 at FSU Student Union, Florida State University, Tallahassee.
No admission charge. The convention welcomes fans across anime, gaming, and all genres.
The Witches and Magic theme shapes this year’s programming. Dealers’ Hall features artists and vendors. HeartStrings Maid Cafe, idol performances, and Kpop showcase provide entertainment. Contests and panels run throughout both days.

Florida State University Student Government Association partially funds the convention. Sponsors include Toasty Taiyaki, Urban Bowls, Tiger Convention, Kourindou, Tally Cat Cafe, 926 Bar, Flippin Great Pinball, Anime Garage Cafe, and local artists.
