Convention Update

Ocala Comic Con 2020 Cancellation

Over the last few months we have been working on ways we could still hold and operate the Ocala Comic Con. Our top priority with our convention has been safety since Day 1. This is why we did not hesitate to push our dates back originally.

After working with the Hilton we have came to the conclusion that the event this year would unfortunately not work and not be as safe as we would like it to be. So it is with a heavy heart that we announce that we will be pushing that Ocala Comic Con back to a safer 2021 date.

COVID-19 cases are still rising and it doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. Our layout at the Hilton would not allow us to have clear walkways and/or properly distance our attendees and vendors.

Refunds have already started going out and we are sure some of these caught you off guard. We wanted to get these back to you asap. We do understand that a lot of you have been out of work for some time now and that this money could go a long way.

Please keep an eye out on our page for next year’s date announcement. We appreciate everyone understanding and look forward to seeing you all back at the 2021 Ocala Comic Con!
