The Transformers comic series is about to hit a major milestone. Coming to comic shops on October 8, 2025, issue #25 marks the beginning of a thrilling new era as Robert Kirkman and Dan Mora take over the creative reins, ushering in fresh stories within the expanding Energon Universe.

Published by Skybound and Image Comics in collaboration with Hasbro, this oversized issue features Kirkman, the acclaimed writer behind The Walking Dead and Invincible, crafting the story, while Mora delivers his signature dynamic and vibrant artwork. Alongside colorist Mike Spicer and letterer Rus Wooton, the team promises an action-packed read that welcomes both longtime fans and newcomers.

Set after the pivotal events of the first two years in the Energon Universe, Transformers #25 follows Optimus Prime and the surviving Autobots as they navigate a dramatically changed Cybertron. The issue also includes a special backup story written by Kirkman and illustrated by Jorge Corona, teasing exciting developments ahead.

Fans will be treated to a variety of stunning cover art, including the main cover by David Nakayama, as well as eye-catching variants from artists such as Daniel Warren Johnson & Mike Spicer, Jorge Corona & Mike Spicer, Kael Ngu, Dan Mora, and Jae Lee & June Chung. Blank sketch covers and specialty finish variants by David Nakayama, John Amor, and Leonardo Romero round out the offerings.
